Wireless Force Sensing System Makes Top 50 Sensor Products List!

Wireless ELF™ continues to make news in the sensor industry, most recently by its presence on Sensors Magazine's Top 50 Products of 2006 list! Barbara Goode, editor of Sensors, comments,

The impressive FlexiForce sensor becomes even more impressive, and eminently usable, with wireless communication capabilities

At its June 2006 debut at Sensors Expo, Wireless ELF was recognized with an honorable mention at the Best of Sensors Expo awards ceremony. According to one of the judges, Sensors editor Stephanie Henkel,

(Tekscan's) product has always been pretty slick, but attaching leads limited its applications.

Now, thanks to its new wireless capability, Wireless ELF is opening doors into a variety of applications where leads can be cumbersome, such as those involving mobile subjects, or objects. The system enables users to take measurements from distances of up to 200 feet.  The new wireless version of the already successful ELF System will allow customers greater freedom and flexibility in using force and pressure sensors in their product research, quality assurance, and testing.
