Houston, Texas

The Greater Houston Dental Society's annual meeting, Star of the South, provides access to continuing education, the latest dental products, and information on social programs and special events. This year, the society is celebrating the 46th year in what has become one of the most talked about meetings in the Greater Houston area. Dr. Rick Coker, DDS will be giving a lecture on Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR) Therapy, a splint-free therapy designed to alleviate symptoms for chronic pain and TMD patients.

Educational funding provided by A-dec, Burkhart Dental,  BioResearch and Tekscan, Inc.

This demonstration will explain the theory behind DTR (Disclusion Time Reduction Therapy) treatment and why it is so applicable to many people suffering from headaches and TMD issues. There is no reason why people have to suffer from chronic head pain, when the problem lies with the muscles that control the jaw. Observers will see how it is done, and why it is done.  AGD Code: 180.
