The conference theme addresses Physical Activity – Feet – Wider Health – clearly a topic of global relevance with the rapid rise in non-communicable diseases (diabetes, arthritis, obesity, cancer, heart disease) and links with physical inactivity. Given that most forms of physical activity involve walking and running, Foot Health is fundamental, but often overlooked.
