Introducing: Striking Measures

AnkleThe average person will walk around 115,000 miles in a lifetime (more than four times around the earth!). I think it's safe to say we depend on our feet and lower limbs quite a bit. Used to walk, to run, to jump, skip and stand - our feet literally support every move we make.

While we may not appreciate the freedom our feet provide on a daily basis, we sure do notice when something's wrong. A slight tweak of an ankle, a minute imbalance of the limbs, improper footwear, common foot pathologies, and painful pressure peaks are only a few of the irksome issues that can leave us immobile, or at the very least limping through life.

To keep us up and running (pun intended), researchers, clinicians, and retailers must be able to accurately identify and address potential and existing conditions related to foot and lower limb function. Here in Striking Measures, Tekscan's new medical blog, we'll inspire readers from the aforementioned groups to elevate their professional endeavors with technology through a collection of content showcasing Tekscan’s pressure measurement systems and solutions.
