Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR) Summits 2017: Treat Occluso-Muscle Disorders with Ease!

Disclusion Time Reduction Therapy employs technology to resolve many Temporal-mandibular-dysfunction (TMD) symptoms that can otherwise wreak havoc on a patient's daily health. Using Tekscan’s T-Scan™ to scan and analyze occlusal contacts in tandem with electromyogram EMG to analyze muscle activities, dental operators are able to perform an occlusal adjustment procedure that reduces muscle activity and TMD pain.

In our continuous effort to facilitate high tech dentistry, we’re proud to support Robert Kerstein, DMD and Ben Sutter, DMD as they share their methods of treating patients with headaches and TMD pain in their DTR Summit courses.

DTR Summit: The Non-Appliance Approach to Treating Occluso-Muscle Disorders

In 2017, Dr. Kerstein and Dr. Sutter will host the following DTR Summits:

During these sessions, you’ll learn about a minimally invasive way to diagnose and treat patients experiencing TMD signs and symptoms through occlusal management. Both Dr. Kerstein and Dr. Sutter are leaders in DTR and will present their combined wealth of related information through lectures, live patient treatment, and hands-on workshops.

In addition to earning 16 hours of CE credit upon seminar completion, throughout the course you will:

  • Define  Disclusion Time Reduction Therapy  and explore the science and research behind it
  • Evaluate and diagnose clinical DTR cases
  • Gain skills around interpreting data with hands-on clinical demonstrations for occlusal analysis
  • Demonstrate what you've learned in live patient treatment scenarios
  • Assess when and when not to treat patients with DTR
  • Formulate how DTR can be applied to other areas of dentistry

Space is limited so make sure to register soon! For more DTR Summit details and registration information, visit the appropriate page below.
