Description

The USB-6008 is an analog to digital device that can take discrete or analog signals and transmit them to a PC via USB. The Tekscan system can used this signal for remote triggering or processing of external data with the tactile sensor data.

Applications

  • Synching Tekscan data capture with the start of video recording (digital or analog)
  • Compare tactile sensor data with other analog sensor input
  • Perform calibration using load cell input with calibration wizard

Analog Sensor Input

All Tekscan systems can record up to eight analog sensors in addition to acquiring pressure data from the Tekscan sensor. In-depth analysis can be run while correlating Tekscan data with data from:

  • Thermocouple
  • Humidity sensor
  • Load cell
  • Etc.

Triggering

The USB-6008 provides the interface for an external trigger to star/stop a recording in an Evolution™ system. The Evolution can also signal a start/stop to an external device via the USB-6008.
