Grip™ VersaTek® System
grip analysis

System Features

Grip VersaTek® system measures and records the dynamic pressures and forces your hands and fingers apply while grasping, gripping, holding, moving, lifting, and using objects. The system displays and records the hand and finger pressures applied during these activities and gives insight into these activities and the product.
Grip VersaTek - Tennis

The Grip system graphically displays and plots the forces and pressure distribution for different parts of the hand and fingers so you can analyze and quantitatively compare the grasping action and product designs from an ergonomic perspective. Whether used to design a more ergonomically friendly product, measure the pressures required to grasp objects or analyze the pressure needed to open, close, or lift items, the Grip system is an ideal tool for measuring and comparing grasping forces. The system is available tethered or untethered for increased mobility and range of assessment. The software is available in several languages including Spanish, French and German. Applications: Benefits:
  • Ergonomics
    • Grasping forces on products
    • Hand forces required to open, close, hold, and move things
    • Lifting and repetitive motions
  • Occupational Health
    • Analyze carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Product Design
    • For the elderly and physically disabled
  • Athletics in which grip is a factor such as baseball, golf, bowling, and tennis
  • Paper-thin sensor does not affect the grip “feel”
  • Flexibility of the sensor allows movement and conformability
  • Sensor fits right and left hand
  • Easily locate sensing pads to fit any size hand
  • Connections and wiring does not interfere with the gripping activity
  • Can detect peak pressure regions within a sensing pad
  • Sensors are durable and reusable
