HR Mat™ System

high-resolution barefoot analysis

High-resolution, advanced version of MatScan designed to measure the gait of both adults and small children.

<em>HR Mat</em>™ System

HR Mat Pressure Mapping System Features:

  • High-resolution floor mat system for capturing barefoot plantar pressure, assessing foot function, and analyzing gait
  • Sensor spatial resolution of 4 sensels/cm2 (25 sensels/in2) - supports visualization of the effect of small bones and other components of the foot
  • Captures multiple foot strikes
  • View 2-D or 3-D data; several graphing options to identify high risk areas
  • Easy-to-use technology
  • Low profile, floor mat height 0.225" (0.57 cm)
  • USB connection

Gait mat pressure output

Benefits of using a gait mat:

  • Accurately assess pediatric foot function, gait, and deformed feet

  • Observe what the neuropathic foot cannot feel

  • Reduce incidence of ulcers and/or pressure sores

  • Expand your practice through proactive foot screenings

  • Provide supporting documentation for fee-for-service approach and/or insurance claims

  • Use as educational tool to teach rehabilitation exercises for the lower limb

For multi-step analysis, check out our Walkway™ System for human gait analysis.

A Tekscan system consists of scanning electronics, software and patented thin-film sensors.

VersaTek Cuffs  -  Every VersaTek based system uses specially designed scanning electronics called Cuffs. The Cuffs connect to the sensor, gather the data from the sensor, and then process and send this data to your computer via USB connection. VersaTek electronics sample at the fastest speeds and are compatible with other VersaTek sensors, giving you the ability to add in-shoe, prosthetic, grip, and seating & positioning capabilities to your Tekscan System.

  • The image above illustrates with clarity the foot print profile of a pediatric foot due to the high resolution of the sensor. The 2-D Display (top) shows the contoured image of the pressure profile and the Center of Force trajectory (gait line of foot path during stance phase.) The Graph (bottom) displays the Force vs. Time curve of one foot strike.

  • Floor mat system and optional Video Synchronization feature showing simultaneous pessure output with video capture.
