Description

FlexiForce™ WB201 Sensor

WB201 sensors have a 3-pin termination, and are designed exclusively for use with the Wireless ELF™ System. WB201 sensors are available in three force ranges: Low 111 N (0-25 lb.), Medium 667 N (0-150 lb.) and High 4448 N (0-1000 lb.).

Recommended Max Force:

Sensor Max Force (High Gain) Max Force (Low Gain)
WB201 - L 4.4 N (0 - 1 lb)  111 N (0 - 25 lb)
WB201 - M  111 N (0 - 25 lb)      667 N (0 - 150 lb)
WB201 - H   667 N (0 - 150 lb)        4448 N (0 - 1,000 lb)

(Adjustable gain feature of the WELF 2 System allows you to set force ranges)

Please be advised that the WB201 sensors function ONLY with the WELF2 System.

If you are looking for a sensor to use with your own electronics, please select the A201 sensors

Typical Performance

Linearity (Error): < ±3% of Full Scale (Line drawn from 0 to 50% load)
Repeatability: < ±2.5% (Conditioned Sensor, 80% of Full Force Applied)
Hysteresis: < 4.5 % of Full Scale (Conditioned Sensor, 80% of Full Force Applied)
Drift: <5% / logarithmic time (Constant Load of 90% sensor rating)
Response Time: < 5 µsec (Time required for the sensor to respond to an input force; Impact load - recorded on Oscilloscope)
Operating Temperature: -40°C - 60°C (-40°F - 140°F)*

* Force reading change per degree of temperature change = ±0.36%/°C (0.2%/°F)

* For loads less than 10 lb, the operating temperature can be increased to 74° C (165° F)
