Educational Webinars
Using the MatScan in Rehabilitation
Tuesday, April 22 - 3:00 PM (EST)
Presented by Norman Murphy, Ph.D.
This presentation focuses on the MatScan in a rehabilitation environment and how it can be used to assess lower limb misalignment and clinical treatment related to posture and patient education. (Specifications)

Assessing Posture with the MatScan
Wednesday, May 14 - 3:00 PM (EST)
Presented by Norman Murphy, Ph.D.
This presentation focuses on postural alignment and body sway analysis using visual assessment of body alignment while standing, and using the MatScan to assess asymmetry relative to weight-bearing (force), contact area and plantar pressure profiles left vs. right. Sway is assessed relative to CoF displacement (trajectory) and rises/falls in force curve (left vs. right foot weight-bearing). (Specifications)

General Foot Function & Gait Analysis Using Murphy 4P Method
Wednesday, May 21 - 12:00 PM (EST)
Presented by Norman Murphy, Ph.D.
The Murphy 4P Method provides an analytical protocol that helps confirm if asymmetrical foot function and gait via one, some or all of four biomechanical parameters (timing, trajectory, symmetry, integral) for each of and between the left & right feet have been reduced, thus meeting desired and expected treatment outcomes. (Specifications)

Segmenting Foot Function and Gait Curve for Analysis: 3Box Approach
Wednesday, June 18 - 3:00 PM (EST)
Presented by Norman Murphy, Ph.D.
The 3Box Approach subdivides the foot, its functions and the Gait Curve (total vertical ground reaction force from heel strike to toe-off) into two components; heel and forefoot, and by so doing, provides specific loading patterns during heel contact and forefoot contact, independent of and in conjunction with the Gait Curve. (Specifications)
