What is the MobileMatâ„¢?

The MobileMat™ is Tekscan's standard resolution pressure mat. Combined with Tekscan's innovative software, the mats can be used for a variety of applications to capture and evaluate static and dynamic foot function, profile anatomical landmarks, assess postural stability, and perform balance and sway analysis.

MobileMat Features

  • Provides objective and quantifiable pressure data
  • Stylish, low profile mat - platform height at the sensing area is only 0.3 in. (0.76 cm)
  • Portable and durable with virtually no set up time
  • Quick and easy USB connection
  • Simple and easy-to-use
  • Scanning speed of up to 185 Hz, depending on resolution
  • Slim, convenient design with handle
  • Collect data wherever and whenever you want in minutes
  • High resolution mat version available for even more demanding and sensitive data collection, such as pediatric use

MobileMat Applications Include:

  • Identify/reduce incidence of ulcers and/or pressure sores by observing what the neuropathic foot cannot feel
  • Educate and teach rehabilitation exercises for the lower limb
  • Provide supporting documentation for fee-for-service approach and/or insurance claims
  • Identify plantar pressure profile asymmetries between left and right feet
