Custom Tactile Pressure Sensors
Tekscan offers over 200 standard tactile pressure sensors, but also has the ability to produce custom sensors
for a variety of applications. Tekscan can create customized pressure sensors in just about any size, shape,
or pressure range, with sensing areas as large as 88 ft2 (8 m2) and with sensel densities as high as 1,600
per square inch (248 per square cm).
For use in high temperature environments, pressure sensors can also be produced
with operating temperatures as high as 400° F (200° C).
