I-Scan® Cross-Handle Scanning System
System Features
The I-Scan Cross-Handle Scanning (CHS) system is a two or more handle version of the
I-Scan pressure and force measurement system. Cross-Handle Scanning allows larger arrays
of sensing elements, or sensels, to be addressed with fewer hardware connections. An I-Scan
CHS sytem can also scan multiple single sensors in parallel. The system provides fast scanning rates:
up to 214 Hz/frames per second. I-Scan CHS has the same software as classic I-Scan,
providing powerful data acquisition and vivid pressure displays. Dynamic force and pressure
distribution events appear in real-time, and can easily be saved and analyzed using a variety
of graphs or exported as an ASCII file to be used with other programs.
