Garment System
garment interface analysis
Assesses topical pressures for the prevention and management of pressure-related and circulation problems
Garment Pressure MAPPING system FEATURES
- Shows the amount of topical pressure being applied by the garment in all areas; particularly large, flat areas, such as the back or chest
-
Uses paper-thin, non-intrusive pressure and force measurement sensors
-
Provides data for objective and quantified analysis of function
-
Scanning speed of up to 100 Hz
BENEFITS OF PRESSURE MAPPING
- Properly fit garments by achieving the desired interface pressure
- Decrease skin breakdown, numbness in the extremities, or inadequate pressure application
A Tekscan system consists of scanning electronics, software and patented thin-film sensors.
Garment System Components
(1) Evolution USB Handle - Every Tekscan system uses specially designed scanning electronics called Handles or Cuffs. The electronics connect to the sensor, gather the data from the sensor, and then process and send this data to your computer via USB connection.
