FlexiForce®: The Smart Load Sensing Solution for Grip Applications
Accurate grip measurement has become increasingly important in today’s world of continued
ergonomic improvement. Historically, there have been limitations with grip measurement.
Load cells are expensive and bulky; pressure films relay only relative measurements
reflecting the maximum pressure experienced over a given sequence. For these reasons,
more and more product designers and engineers are turning to FlexiForce® to solve their grip
measurement needs.
FlexiForce force sensors are ultra-thin (0.008"), flexible, non-obtrusive printed circuits.
Their construction allows for easy maneuvering and an exclusive fit, even during the most delicate
of procedures. FlexiForce sensors are fully customizable to suit your unique OEM grip application.
Standard sensors are also available for proof of concept, or for a quick, low quantity, R&D solution.
