External Trigger & Synch Software
Coordinate the operation of other products with your Tekscan VersaTek System!
The VersaTek Hub has two BNC connector type ports. The BNC trigger port is designed to receive an external trigger output signal from a contact closure. The BNC synch port can send out a trigger or synch signal from Tekscan software to another system. The Trigger & Synch software can send out three types of signals for trigger output: low to high, high to low, or pulse with every frame. Hub to Handle communication is instantaneous, therefore, VersaTek electronics are the best option for triggering due to minimal system latency times.
Applications:
- Synching Tekscan data recordings with video
- Triggering and synching with another Tekscan system or a third party system, such as motion capture or EMG
- Triggering a Tekscan recording via a signal from an external system
Requirements:
- For trigger input: Triggering device providing a contact closure signal
- For trigger output & synchronization: Synchronizing device receiving CMOS level signal (0 to 3V)
