Error: This version of Windows Media Player is not supported on Microsoft Windows 2000
Issue: I got the following error message when I tried to install the Tekscan software on my PC:
This version of of Windows Media Player is not supported on Microsoft Windows 2000. A version supporting Windows 2000 will be made available on www.microsoft.com at a future date.

Solution: Windows XP and Windows 2000 already have all of the Windows Media Player features that the I-Scan software needs to use for video. If you do not tell I-Scan to install the Windows Media Player features, you will not get this error message.
Only use the I-Scan Install button -- ignore the Windows Media Player Install button. It is not needed.
