This study is the first of its kind to scientifically test articulating paper and its ability to describe occlusal loads. The resulting conclusion: "it would be impossible for a dentist to correctly pick the right mark from its size appearance" as there was no correlation between the size of a mark, and the color of the mark, to the degree of occlusal force contained within the mark.
